Faridabad Teacher Attacked At School Gate
The incident happened at Saraswati Senior Secondary School in the village Saraswati of Sikona in the morning of the Monday.
Around 9.30 am, Sandhya was in the school as part of her routine, police said.
The following day, a couple of days after the opening of the school, Amit came in with a white scarf over his face and requested a meetup with her.
School staff informed Sandhya that someone wanted to see her. The accused then allegedly attacked her with a knife as soon as she reached the main gate.
Sandhya was stabbed many times on her neck, chest, face and abdomen, police said.
She cried out for assistance, and tried to flee, but the accused persisted in assaulting her. He is alleged to have continued staking her with his dagger even after she had fallen on the ground.
The teacher died on scene after being stabbed repeatedly over more than 20 times, the police said.
The whole attack was captured by CCTV
Police said CCTV cameras set-up at the school captured the whole event.
The mask-wearing accused was allegedly seen repeatedly stabbing the teacher in the video that’s now been shared extensively on social media.
It also reveals him threatening the school operator who came to his aid to attempt to save the victim.
Hearing Sandhya’s screams, school administrator Tejpal rushed to the spot and tried to stop the attacker.
“I tried to warn the young man and shouted, ‘Hey, what are you doing? Stop!’ but he charged at me with the knife. I started looking for something to use as a weapon, but by then, he had struck her several times and fled,” Tejpal said.
“There was only one attacker. He had a bike without a number plate parked outside. After the incident, I informed police and immediately took Sandhya to hospital, where doctors declared her dead,” he added.
Other teachers came in en masse to assist Sandhya, but she had already died from her injuries.

Police state that Molestation Complaint Was Motive
The preliminary investigation said Amit had been acquainted with Sandhya for some two years, while he was studying at a private school at her village.
Despite his efforts to communicate with her, he continued to stalk her and make such attempts while she refused him, police said.
Sandhya, who was said to be fed up with the harassment, had threatened to approach the police. She had filed a molestation complaint with Amit a few days ago.
The accused made a public apology at the time but investigators believe he harbored a grudge against the complaint and in revenge attacked the man.
Sandhya used to live in Dabua, Ballabgarh with her husband and then in Firozpur Kalan. She was a teacher at Saraswati Senior Secondary School, Sikona village.
The investigation is ongoing, and the accused is being held for further questioning, police said.
