Indian Railways is set to integrate its RailOne application with Bharat Taxi to address the last-mile connectivity gap for passengers using New Delhi railway station, the Indian Express reported.
The initiative is being developed in partnership with RailTel and is aimed at easing congestion outside the station, cutting down passenger inconvenience and offering a dependable onward transport option.
“To improve the travel experience for passengers arriving at or departing from New Delhi Railway Station, the RailOne App is to be integrated with Bharat Taxi,” the Railways said.
Bharat Taxi, launched on 5 February by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, is the country’s first cooperative-based cab service. It was conceived to promote the cooperative economic model while ensuring transparent and fair service delivery to users.
The RailOne app, also referred to as Indian Railways’ Super App, had recorded 2.57 crore downloads as of 15 March 2026, according to a Ministry of Railways statement issued on 18 March.
On average, 7.64 lakh tickets covering both reserved and unreserved categories are being booked through the platform every day. The app is available for download on both the Android Play Store and Apple App Store.
Beyond ticketing, the app functions as a consolidated digital platform for rail travellers.
It brings together services such as IRCTC Rail Connect, NTES, Rail Madad and Food on Track under a single interface.
Passengers can book reserved, unreserved and platform tickets, check live train running status, track PNR status, manage cancellations and monitor refunds. Real-time coach position and platform details are also accessible through the app.
Food ordering from IRCTC-approved vendors directly to seats and lodging complaints through Rail Madad are among the other features available to users.
