Moving Tech Innovations (MTI) announces acquisition of Netherlands-based mobility firm Automicle Holding BV, on Thursday, March 26, 2026 in Bengaluru.
On the acquisition the company said that as Urban mobility remains unsolved across cities globally the mobility technology company is taking its zero-commission, community-led mobility model to Europe to address these challenges and to empower cities and their communities. The company said it has completed over 150 million trips and enabled more than ₹2,500 crore in driver earnings without commissions.
MTI is the parent company behind open mobility platforms including Namma Yatri a zero-commission mobility platform built on open digital protocols that connects users with auto and cab services and other mobility solutions like Yatri Sathi, Bharat Taxi, and Chennai One.
Automicle has developed public mobility and digital parking solutions rooted in strong local partnerships across Europe. Both companies are built on open protocols such as the Beckn Protocol and TOMP API standards, reflecting a shared commitment to open, city-first systems.

As India–EU Free Trade Agreement discussions gain renewed momentum, collaboration in technology and urban systems is becoming a shared priority the companies said the acquisition highlights growing collaboration between India and the European Union in digital public infrastructure and urban mobility. They said cities are increasingly exploring open mobility systems as they rethink urban transport.
