Namma Yatri parent Moving Tech acquires Automicle to enter Europe

Moving Tech Innovations, the parent company of Namma Yatri, has acquired Netherlands-based Automicle Holding BV as part of its international expansion strategy.

The deal marks the company’s entry into Europe, where it plans to replicate its zero-commission, community-led mobility model in global markets.

The firm will leverage Automicle’s presence to scale its offerings internationally, while continuing to work with city-level stakeholders and transport ecosystems.

Founded in Bengaluru, Moving Tech operates mobility platforms such as Namma Yatri, Yatri Sathi, and Bharat Taxi. It follows a direct-to-driver model that does not charge commissions.

The company said the acquisition will support the expansion of its open mobility framework in European cities, where challenges such as high platform commissions and fragmented transport systems persist.

Moving Tech has completed over 150 million trips across its platforms and enabled more than Rs 2,500 crore in driver earnings, according to the company.

Namma Yatri is a zero-commission, open-mobility platform in India that connects users directly with auto and cab drivers for fair-priced rides. The app operates in cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Chennai, offering a hassle-free ride-hailing experience.

Recently, Namma Yatri raised Rs 39.75 crore (around $4.4 million) in a pre-Series A extension round led by Juspay founder Vimal Kumar and others.
