Officials highlighted that Bharat Taxi aims to differentiate itself from existing ride-hailing platforms by prioritising cooperative principles, where drivers are stakeholders rather than just service providers. This model is expected to improve income stability for drivers while offering passengers a transparent fare structure and dependable service.

As user interest grows, the Ministry has cautioned customers to download only the official Bharat Taxi application and remain alert against fake or unauthorised apps claiming association with the service. The official app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

With momentum building ahead of its formal nationwide rollout, Bharat Taxi is emerging as a significant new entrant seeking to blend technology, cooperation and economic empowerment into a single mobility solution.
