Shimla: Himachal Pradesh industries minister Harshwardhan Chauhan on Wednesday launched the official website of the State Khadi and Village Industries Board, stating that it would play a significant role in disseminating information about the department’s schemes, programmes, activities, and achievements to the general public in a simple and transparent manner.Through the departmental website – www.hpkhadi.in – beneficiaries, entrepreneurs, and citizens will be able to access relevant information related to the department, said the minister.Chauhan was chairing the 246th meeting of the Himachal Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board. During the meeting, various departmental and policy-related issues concerning the board were discussed in detail. Apart from these, important matters aimed at further strengthening the khadi and village industries sector were deliberated upon, said an official spokesperson.The minister stressed the effective implementation of programmes related to khadi and village industries, with a special focus on employment generation and strengthening the rural economy.Additional chief secretary (industries) R D Nazim and other officers were also present in the meeting.MSID:: 126038584 413 |
