“This step will not only boost transportation across the city but will also contribute to cleaner air,” Gupta said. She added that by 2028, the DTC aims to expand its overall bus fleet to 14,000.
“These electric buses are air-conditioned, low-floor and equipped with panic buttons and other modern safety features, improving both comfort and accessibility,” she said.
